TEAM REPS,

The majority of the games have been rescheduled with the exception of Men’s A (again). There are several double headers scheduled for Ladies C (July 26th – Rama), Ladies B (August 2nd- Rama) and Men’s C (July 31st-Coldwater). The rule of thumb is two weeks notice for scheduling but Ladies C has been given 13 days due to timing and diamond availability. If your team has an issue or a conflict I need to know right away.

Men’s A Team Reps: myself and another member of the Executive will be at the Udell Diamond on Wednesday July 19th to discuss the schedule.

Pending games are:
Orillia Premier Trucking vs Canadian Tire Gas + (since scheduled for August 10th at 8:30 pm at Ross)
Yonge & Steele Ford vs Bulk Barn

Players, if you have concerns please speak with your Team Reps.

After heavy rains this morning I felt it prudent to do a physical inspection of the diamonds.

As of this moment I am officially declaring it “Umpire’s Discretion at game time” … there is some minor puddles on the infields at Kitchener and some standing water currently at Udell, but given current weather condition that could likely dry up by game time.

If the umpire deems the conditions playable at game time, we will proceed as scheduled.

All Ladies and Men’s games scheduled for June 29th have been postponed due to the condition of City diamonds.

We are all learning how to use Teampages. The more of us that take advantage of the product, the more we will learn how to use it effectively.

Team Reps should have the capability to update existing users email addresses and send requests to them. The functionality to modify will be removed when Rosters are closed on July 1st.

UPLOAD your Sponsor Pictures.
Get your Sponsor the exposure they deserve by asking for a copy of their digital media and uploading it to the site.

The onus is on the Team Reps not to add more than 20 players. The League will perform spot checks of Team Rosters.

The City of Orillia has advised the League that their Diamonds remain closed. Ladies B, C & D and Men’s A games are cancelled.

Severn Township has confirmed they are ready to begin our Season tonight with our Men’s C teams taking the Field in Coldwater.
